McLaughlin's begins facade improvement

NORWICH – On Wednesday, workers began to remove the aluminum sheeting covering McLaughlin’s Department Store, revealing the brick and windows underneath. McLaughlin’s, located at 27 South Broad Street in Norwich, is one of many businesses in Norwich’s downtown to take advantage of the Main Street Grant, administered through the Business Improvement District that provides money for facade improvements.

I am so happy to see that the beautiful bricks are going to be back in view of everyone. The brick buildings in Norwich are part of our history and beauty. Bravo McLaughlin's and the BID Grant for making this possible.
