Arts Council presents "Christmas on Broadway"

The Chenango County Council of the Arts will present “HOLIDAY ON BROADWAY” featuring Broadway stars Diane Ketchie, Raymond Saar, Valerie Perri and Scott Harlan in the Martin W. Kappel Theater in Norwich on Sunday, December 17 at 2 p.m. This unforgettable show is guaranteed to put you in a holiday mood and includes hilarious fractured carols, holiday music from “The Fabulous Fifties”, a recreation of the Ed Sullivan Show, as well as smash hits from Broadway, film, and television. In addition, audience members will celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and Three Kings Day with traditional music from around the world – from the sunny Caribbean to the steppes of the North Pole.

Performers include:

RAYMOND SAAR has performed on concert stages and in theaters throughout the world. He starred as Raoul in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom Of The Opera in San Francisco. He toured with Sammy Cahn in his original musical, Words And Music. Mr. Saar played Marius and Enjolras in Les Miserables on Broadway, in the Los Angeles production and was one of the featured soloists on the international cast album. He played Lun Thau in the National Tour of The King And I, starring Yul Brynner. Mr. Saar worked with Peter Marshall and his singing group, Chapter Five. This included appearances with such notables as Bob Hope, Bob Newhart, Joan Rivers, and a command performance at the White House. His television credits include General Hospital, Good Morning America, Jerry Lewis Telethon, and The Tonight Show, starring Johnny Carson. DIANE KETCHIE made her Broadway debut in Phantom Of The Opera and also starred in the San Francisco production of Phantom as Carlotta, the opera diva. She made her New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall as a result of winning the Artists International annual competition. She has appeared as a guest artist with the Houston Symphony, the Jacksonville Symphony, the Milwaukee Symphony, and the Long Beach Symphony. Operatic credits include leading roles with Lyric Opera Cleveland, Opera Delaware, Opera Carolina, Skylight Comic Opera and Treasure Coast Opera. Ms. Ketchie is also an accomplished concert pianist who often performs with orchestras as a solo artist. She first performed as both singer and pianist in the premiere of Orpheus In Love at the Circle Repertory Theater Off-Broadway. Of her performance, Bernard Holland of THE NEW YORK TIMES stated, "I can think of no one in the Broadway, popular or classical world who could do all the things she does and do them so well."

I don't live in Norwich anymore. My question is; where is the Martin W. Kappel Theater located? Who is Martin W. Kappel?
