Edmeston family spreads the word through music

EDMESTON – For the past 10 years this mother/daughters trio has spread their faith throughout churches state-wide using their voices and passion for southern and contemporary gospel music.

The trio called “ The Benjamins” is composed of Judy Benjamin, her daughters Karen Zaleski and Tracey Plows. These three women have sang together in churches and at other functions as well as made two CDs. Their first recording was called “Thank You Lord” and the brand new CD just recorded is called “Songs for the Journey.”

The new CD had two new additions that the first did not contain. These new additions are the vocals talents of two other family members now joining the group – Ariel Zaleski, 14, and Cassandra Plows, 12, two granddaughters. The Benjamins have made their music into a celebration of family as well as celebration of faith.
