Walton 4, Afton 2

AFTON – Walton received two goals from Steve Snyder and never trailed against Afton in Thursday’s game.

Jake Snyder scored in the first half for Afton, but was injured on the scoring play and did not return. Ernesto Aguirre added one goal and one assist for the Crimson Knights. “Sometimes we look like stars and sometimes we look like a first-year team,” said Afton coach Ron Rapp. “Walton moved the ball well and didn’t give the ball up. They are more seasoned than us, and when you don’t give the ball away, you create more opportunities for yourself.”
