GREENE – Mike Thomas had a hat trick for Greene, and Mike Porter added two goals for the Trojans giving him five this week.
The Trojans, with three division losses, also had a goal from Adam Raducha.
Carlos Molina scored a pair of goals for B-G.

WELLS BRIDGE – Unadilla Valley, tied for second in the Midstate Athletic Conference with Greene, reached the 10-win plateau for the third straight season Thursday at Unatego.
Losers to the Spartans, the Storm showed more effective passing in the second half playing against the wind. Already leading 1-0 at the half, Juston Parks and Andy Hayes added insurance goals.
Since an 0-2 start, the Storm have gone 10-1-1. “The turnaround for us started in practice,” said UV coach Matt Osborne. “We realized we needed to practice harder to play better in games. The seniors have stepped up for us and we’ve been playing well down the stretch.”
UV (10-3-1) is at Walton Monday.

AFTON – Walton received two goals from Steve Snyder and never trailed against Afton in Thursday’s game.
Jake Snyder scored in the first half for Afton, but was injured on the scoring play and did not return. Ernesto Aguirre added one goal and one assist for the Crimson Knights. “Sometimes we look like stars and sometimes we look like a first-year team,” said Afton coach Ron Rapp. “Walton moved the ball well and didn’t give the ball up. They are more seasoned than us, and when you don’t give the ball away, you create more opportunities for yourself.”
Afton plays Oxford today.

WATERVILLE – Sherburne-Earlville posted its second shutout this week, and has outscored its opponents by a combined 12-0 count.
The Marauders (10-4-2), who reached double-digit wins for the second straight season, scored three goals over a six-minute span in the final 15 minutes of play to pull away.
Travis Tomaselli started the trio of tallies with his second goal at 15:08. Dyrek Wingate and Tom Pudney followed to complete the arithmetic.
