New Berlin Art Forum hosts Orpheus Theater

NEW BERLIN – The Oneonta-based regional theater company Orpheus Theatre will be performing at 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14 at the Unadilla Valley School.

The troupe will stage the musical revue, “There’s No Business Like Show Business.” The troupe will kick of the season of performances in the New Berlin Art Forum’s 2006-07 performing arts series.



The show, directed by Mary-Jo Merk, takes the audience down memory lane and gives them a peek of the future. This tuneful theatrical performance will feature songs, scenes and dances from Orpheus Theatre’s 23-year history in the tri-county area. Moments from “West Side Story,” “Oklahoma,” “Annie,” “Cabaret,” “Hello Dolly,” “Chicago,” “Anything Goes” will be featured.

The cast, accompanied by Musical Director Tom Horne, includes Quinn Bernegger, Carleigh Bettiol, Diane Ducey, Michelle Gardner, Randy Messing and John Willis.
