SHERBURNE - Want to get started in Bird Watching, but don’t know where to begin?

Join the Chenango Bird Club on Wednesday, May 8, at Rogers Center, State Rt 80 in Sherburne for Birding 101. This presentation by Anne Swaim, President of NYS Ornithological Association will cover everything you need to know to start this enjoyable adventure. All are welcome to attend this free lecture.

Birding 101 will be preceded by a short business meeting that starts at 6:30 p.m.. The presentation will follow immediately.

The Chenango Bird Club meets at Rogers Center on the second Wednesday of the month from April - December. The club has speakers at some meetings, short field trips and some longer excursions, publishes a quarterly newsletter and participates in the Christmas Bird Count. The club welcomes the public to participate in any of their events and invites everyone to become a member.
