Theresa Ann Harris

Celebrating the One and Only: Theresa Ann Harris (January 19, 1973 - November 3, 2025)
If you ever met Theresa Ann Harris, you probably made a new friend. Theresa, age 52, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2025, at her home in Norwich, NY.
Theresa came into the world on January 19, 1973, in Brooklyn, NY, to Eugene Williams and Catharine Flint Williams. She and her brother were blessed to be adopted by Paul Harris and Vicki Berg, who raised her with love and much patience. She grew up in Greene, NY, graduating from Greene High School in 1992. She moved to McKinney, Texas, where she worked many years in nighttime security.
She later moved back home to New York and worked in customer service, including working at Tops in Norwich, where she made more friends than most people make in a lifetime. If you knew Theresa, you knew her giggle, her fierce love, and her ability to talk to anyone about anything. She never forgot a face, and if she loved you - well, good luck ever getting rid of her. Her friends called her “Mama T” because she had a heart big enough for everyone and didn’t hesitate to speak her mind.
Theresa was happiest when she was surrounded by her people, sharing a laugh, and telling stories. She adored her family, her friends, and her cats - who, like their mom, were cherished, opinionated, and full of personality. She lived life entirely her own way, with stubbornness as her superpower and kindness as her legacy.
She leaves behind her dad, Paul Harris; her mom and stepdad, Vicki and Howard Berg; her sister, Shaya (David) Shatz; her brothers, Gene (Rachel) Harris and Andrew Harris; her uncle, Frank Flint; her aunt, Sue Jacobs; her cousins, Holly Galvez, Robyn Jacobs; and many Flint Family cousins; second cousins; nieces, Ariel and Miyah Shatz, and nephew, Isaiah Shatz; and her lifelong best friend, Heidi Richards.
She is preceded in death by her biological parents, her grandparents Marion Phillips, James and Margaret Phillips, and Eugene and Helen Harris, her aunts Myrtle Flint and Georgia Goodspeed, and her uncles Rich Jacobs and Jerry Goodspeed - who already realize they’re in for a lot of talking now that Theresa’s arrived.
Theresa was loved beyond measure. She made life brighter, funnier, and full of heart. There will never be another quite like her - and honestly, the world couldn’t handle two.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, where we can honor her and share more stories than could ever fit on one page.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home. To leave the family a message of sympathy, please visit: www.wilsonfh.com.
