NORWICH – Special pricing for “early bird” reservations are now available for the annual “Summer Barn Party,” to be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on August 5 in the Chenango County Historical Society’s (CCHS) Loomis Barn, located at 41 Rexford Street in Norwich.

Celebrate the splendor of the summer during an evening of food, fun, and friends. Enjoy delicious carnival treats and beverage tastings by local establishments, with vintage games and music by DJ Jim Baldwin. During the festivities, the museum will unveil its newest exhibit featuring 175 years of summer traditions at the Chenango County Fair.

The ultimate way to enjoy a summer evening, the “Summer Barn Party” is a major fundraiser for CCHS, attracting more than 100 community supporters each year. Event proceeds support a significant portion of the organization’s annual operating budget.
