GREENE – Greene Central School has new principals following the selection of Mark Wilson and Penny Connolly for the Middle and High schools, respectively.

Wilson comes from the Johnson City School District, where he spent the past year as its assistant principal in the elementary schools. Prior to that, Wilson, a graduate of Susquehanna Valley and SUNY-Cortland, was a seventh grade social studies teacher in the JC District before receiving his administrative certificate from Binghamton University in 2018.

“I’m thrilled to be coming to Greene Central School District as the new middle school principal,” Wilson said. “Not only am I excited to work at such a great school district, but also to work within such a phenomenal community. I can’t wait to hit the ground running and get to work this summer, and please, don’t be a stranger: I welcome visitors and families to stop by at any point this summer for an introduction.”
