NORWICH – The Christian Neighborhood Center of Norwich (aka “The Place”) is continuing an annual tradition that brings the holiday spirit to your doorstep.

In hopes of raising funds to support programming and continue its mission of fostering a community where children, teens, and families are nurtured, The Place is again soliciting holiday wreaths throughout the greater Norwich area. The holiday wreathe fundraiser is one of The Place’s topmost fundraising efforts of the year, according to coordinators.

“The sale of these festive wreaths, handmade with care by our staff and a dedicated group of volunteers, provides a tremendous support for the great work that our KIDS Program makes happen every day for the youth and families in our community,” said The Place Interim Director Kecia Funaro-Burton. “The proceeds will help ensure that our youth have the opportunity to be a part of educational field trips throughout our area.”

The 10-inch fraser fir wreaths are available for $27 each. Order forms are available at The Place and on The Place’s Facebook page. Orders are due by Dec. 11. For additional information, email interim_director@theplacenorwich.com or call 336-9696, ext. 103.
