Butternut Valley Garden Club seeking amateurs for their rose exhibit

Butternut Valley Garden Club's 2015 Standard Flower Show will be showing various sections for display in the Horticulture Division titled, 'With a Beauty That Thrills' in the upcoming Otsego County Fair. The Otsego County Fair will run from Tuesday August 4th until Sunday August 9th.

“We've got around 15 to 20 members roughly, we're actually a very active group surprisingly. We lost a few members last year due to a few things but we're always looking for more people,” said Marge Mathis, Publicity Chairman and member of the Butternut Valley Garden Club.

One particular section which the club is hoping to get more involvement in this year is the Rose Section titled, 'So Sweet' which is open to any amateur growers' residing in Otsego County.
