Unadilla Valley 3, Walton 2

NEW BERLIN – Unadilla Valley traded goals early with Walton before gaining a two-goal lead in the second half and holding on for the win Thursday.

After Walton's Jared Beech put Walton on top early, UV's Johnny Schermerhorn and Dylan Thomsen executed a give-and-go with Thomsen knotting the game up. That duo returned the favor with Schermerhorn heading in Thomsen's pass for the one-goal lead.

With 11:27 left in the game, Dakota Fernette gave the Storm much-needed insurance heading in a corner pass from Conor Pope.
