Published: April 30th, 2014

BAINBRIDGE–The Gladiator School of Wrestling would like to thank the community for it’s support. Thanks goes to Norwich Walmart, Sidney Kmart, Sidney Tractor Supply, Walton Hess, Schafer Enterprises in Deposit, AIM Fitness in Norwich, Brown’s Pharmacy in Unadilla, Nina’s in Norwich, The Stadium in Oxford, Mark Goldman, and the Reichents of East Northport, NY. A special thanks goes to Gary Stafford for all his help and support in making this past fundraising weekend a huge success.

The Gladiator School of Wrestling raised over $2,500 at the pulled pork fundraiser on April 26, 2014 at Tractor Supply in Sidney, NY.

All proceeds will go to fund the entry fees and travel expenses for wrestlers entering the MAWA Eastern Nationals in Salisbury, MD on May 3 and 4, 2014.

The Gladiator School of Wrestling has 14 wrestlers who qualified for the national tournament. In order to qualify, a wrestler must place in the top four at one of 34 district tournaments to advance to regionals.

At the regional qualifiers, wrestlers have to place in the top three to become one of the 1,400 that will go to nationals.

The trip to the MAWA Eastern Nationals will cost each family approximately $1,000. All funding for this program comes from generous donations like yours, fundraising and our wrestling families.
