Lily Berg, Sherburne-Earlville, sophomore

Lily Berg played in 21 games this season. She hauled in 112 rebounds and blocked 50 shots. In a game against Sauquoit Valley, with Jordan and Savannah missing, Lily took advantage of her height and finished tough shots inside. She played a lot of AAU in the off season to work on her game. "If she keeps working (on her face up game), the sky's the limit on what she can do. She has a lot of potential," said Mulligan.

Jenni Borfitz, Norwich, senior

Jenni Borfitz is also leaving Norwich to attend college in the fall. The senior had 260 total points, draining 23 three-pointers in 2013-14. “We leaned on Jenni a lot more this year to score than we have in the past,” said Norwich head coach Josh Bennett. Last year she averaged under 12 points a game, that number rose this season to over 13. Her defense is something to reckoned with as well. “Anytime we needed to do something in terms of taking someone out of the game through man to man and defending she did the job,” said Bennett. Borfitz lead the team in steals for three consecutive seasons. The point guard had a positive assist to turnover ratio and handled the pressure of the position with poise. Coach Bennett thinks highly of his player. “You hope that your children turn out as caring, as responsible and as respectful as her,” he said, “she’s just a class act.”
