Norwich Theater Company gears up for “Rehearsal for Murder”

NORWICH – The Norwich Theater Company is in full swing, rehearsing their latest production which will take the stage on Friday, March 21, and Saturday, March 22, at the Chenango Arts Council in Norwich.

“Rehearsal for Murder,” directed by Mena Close, is a thrilling “whodunit” that will leave the audience guessing until the very end. Cast members include: Donna Anderson, Jon Calhoun, Michael Close, Terry Colf, Mena Close, Cassidy Davern, Richard Dennis Given, Christine Davern Harrison, Richard Heim, Jessica Richardson, Victoria Smith, and Nick Tyler.

The play was originally produced as a television movie starring Robert Preston and Vanessa Redgrave, and won a 1983 Edgar Award from the Mystery Writers of America.

Tickets are $12 advance sale ($14 at the door) and are available at www.NorwichTheaterCompany.org, at the Northeast Classic Car Museum, or at Chenango Arts Council in Norwich.

“Rehearsal for Murder” is the second production in the Norwich Theater Company’s 2013-2014 performance season, which was kicked off with “A Christmas Carol” in November 2013 and will conclude with “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in August 2014.
