Chenango Blues Association welcomes Eric Lindell and The Sunliners, and a very special guest, to the East Park stage

NORWICH – The Chenango Blues Association’s Summer Concert Series is in full-swing with Eric Lindell and The Sunliners – and special guest Anson Funderburgh – performing at 7 p.m. tonight on the East Park stage in downtown Norwich.

Eric Lindell is no stranger to performing in Norwich, and said he is very excited to be back for this show.

“I love playing in Norwich,” he said. “When I come up there everything is just so beautiful - the countryside, the people. It’s been a couple of years, so we’re really looking forward to this.”

Lindell first appeared at the Chenango Blues Festival in 2007, and has been a favorite of both festival organizers and fans alike ever since. He is known for his soulful vocal delivery, skills on the guitar, songwriting, and riveting (and energetic) live show.

Chenango Blues Association Board President Eric Larsen said Lindell’s performances are always a favorite and it’s a show he is really looking forward to.

Lindell is currently touring with The Sunliners, and attendees of tonight’s show will have the opportunity to witness a special performance – the addition of guest guitarist Anson Funderburgh.

“Anson’s been jumping in here and there all along our tour,” said Lindell, who added, “He’ll be with us in Norwich (and for about a week after) and that will be a lot of fun.”
