Family of missing New Berlin woman hopes Saturday’s gathering will help spread the word

NORWICH – Family and friends of Jennifer Ramsaran – partnered with LostNMissing, a national non-profit focused on locating missing persons – will hold a special “Shining Hope” gathering from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew’s, 73 East Main Street.

Sponsored by LostNMissing, the event will open with a group prayer for Jennifer’s safe return and close with a flying lantern release, according to organizers, and posters will be distributed to those attending in an effort to locate the missing wife and mother of three, last seen leaving her 473 Sheff Road, New Berlin home on Dec. 11. All are invited, and volunteers are needed to help hang missing posters countywide – and even further – as the search for Ramsaran continues.

According to authorities, there has been no contact with Ramsaran; no activity on any of the woman’s financial or social online accounts; and the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate any and all leads in the case.
