Unofficial Results: Revoir Wins All Three Ballot Lines

NORWICH – Unofficial results from the Chenango County Board of Elections show Frank Revoir Jr. winning all three party lines in Thursday’s primary over challengers Joseph McBride and Diane DiStefano for the ballot positions in the Chenango County Judge race.

On the Republican Party line, Revoir has 2,092 votes to McBride’s 1,812. On the Conservative line, Revoir again leads over McBride, 47 to 28. In the three-way Independence race, Revoir garnered 84 votes to McBride’s 80 and DiStefano’s 47.

The Board of Elections reports around 500 absentee ballots were sent out, 375 of which have been returned. The results of those counts will not be known until a week from today, officials said.

In the City of Norwich Ward 6 Alderman race, Daniel Palmer edged out Thomas LoPiccolo for the Republican nomination, 79 to 74.

In Smyrna, Michael Khoury won the GOP nod with 107 votes, against challengers John Grosso with 24 and Gerald Parry Sr. with 44.

In the race for town of Norwich Board, Stanley Foulds won the GOP line over Michael Ford, 234 to 161.
