OXFORD – The lack of snow won’t be keeping snowmobile enthusiasts from excitement this weekend. The Chenango County Snowmobile Federation, in cooperation with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, will be hosting their Second Annual Sno-Blast this Saturday at Bowman Lake State Park.

Sno-Blast is free and open to the public. Dealer booths and vintage sleds will be set up for snowmobilers to check out, snowmobile related vendors will be selling different products, food concessions will be available for hungry riders and information on snowmobiling events in Chenango County will be passed out. With the lack of snow, snowmobile hobbyists will resort to four-wheeled transportation and snowmobile rides and demos are out of the question, but that’s not going to keep the organization from hosting a terrific event, said Joel Munson, president of the Chenango Snowmobile Federation.
