COLUMBUS –The 2011 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series heads to Unadilla Valley Sports Center July 16 and 17 for round nine of the 11-round race series. With only three races left in the series, the championship title is coming down to the wire.

This nationally televised event on the Versus network is expected to draw nearly 800 riders. With a full-gate of ATV Pro riders for 2011, the championship title chase has never been so exciting.

Former series points leader Chad Wienen recently underwent surgery after a season-ending practice crash left the factory Can-Am racer with two broken vertebrae in his back. With Wienen's absence for the remainder of the season, teammate John Natalie and the rest of the field will have the opportunity to step up for a championship title this year.
