City’s Planning Commission Discusses Housing Issues Monday

NORWICH – As part of the process to update the City of Norwich Comprehensive Plan, the City’s Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the City Court Facility on Hubbard Avenue to discuss housing issues facing the community. The public and parties interested in housing issues in the city are welcome to attend and participate. Areas of discussion will include: general housing characteristics; rental housing; housing issues of the elderly; college students, and individuals with special needs; and housing assistance programs.

Other core issue areas to be discussed at future meetings include: community services; economic development; natural resources and the environment; recreation and culture; historic preservation; transportation and infrastructure; and regional issues.
