NEW BERLIN – On Saturday at 7 p.m. The New Berlin Art Forum will help set the stage for the holiday season with the presentation of “The Puppet People” in the Unadilla Valley Central School auditorium during a fifty minute family performance where you can experience “The Christmas Carol,” a literary masterpiece. These oversized marionettes will warm your hearts with this Charles Dickens' holiday classic.

Look for mean old Scrooge as he discovers Christmas is not HUMBUG after all.  This puppet spectacular features beautiful handcrafted marionettes, shadow puppets, gorgeous masks, lavish costumes, vivid sets, a professional soundtrack that includes many holiday favorites as well as a giant 9-foot parade puppet and guaranteed smile.

“The Puppet People” are members of the Puppeteers of America. They have performed in many schools, theaters, festivals, libraries, museums, community centers and churches throughout New York State, Massachusetts and Vermont.

This husband and wife team of Mark Carrigan and Michelle Smith-Carrigan have been entertaining people for over twenty years.
