Branham, Spittler Add To Record C.C.C. Totals

PLYMOUTH – Bob Branham and Amy Spittler retained their longtime hold on the Canasawacta Country Club scratch championships winning titles Sunday afternoon.

Branham won the men’s low gross with a 54-hole total of 2-under-par 211, his record 20th C.C.C. scratch title. Tied for second place 11 strokes back were Tom Muserilli and Nick Brunick.

Spittler had a two-day 160 aggregate to edge Patty Cwynar by four strokes. Spittler now has a club-record 13 women’s scratch championships.

Other division winners were Kevin Rivenburgh (men’s handicap); Dave Martin (senior men’s scratch), Jay Whipple (senior men’s handicap), and Krista Porter (women’s handicap).
