Norwich woman hits it big!

Diane Scheer, a Town of Norwich resident, hit the jackpot today becoming Chenango County’s latest Lottery millionaire. Scheer purchased a “Win for Life” scratch off ticket on March 13 at the Price Chopper supermarket in Norwich. The game, which has a grand prize of $1,000 a week for life, guarantees a minimum payment of $1 million. The winning ticket made Scheer the fourth Norwich resident to become a Lottery millionaire since 1984.
