OV-C Baseball Splits Doubleheader With DeRuyter

SOUTH OTSELIC – Coming off a big win against Town of Webb, the Otselic Valley-Cincinnatus Vikings baseball team welcomed DeRuyter for a doubleheader on Monday afternoon. Both teams split the doubleheader as DeRuyter took the first game 4-1 and OV-C won 15-2 to pick up their second win of the season.

In game one, OV-C struggled with runners in scoring position and scored its lone run in the bottom of the fifth inning. Lukas Schieferstein led the Vikings with two hits as Troy Miller, Hunter Rozewski, and Braeden Davis each had one hit in the loss. Avram Moses and Davis split time on the mound. Moses went two and two thirds, allowing three runs, one earned, on two hits, walked three, and struck out three batters. Davis allowed one earned run, walked one, hit three batters in his two and a third innings pitched while striking out two.
