Chenango historical society museum renovations to be unveiled at kick-off of summer programming

NORWICH – Chenango County Historical Society's "Third Thursday" seasonal programming will return in May with an afternoon of celebrations and a ribbon cutting to unveil the museum's newly renovated hallway lobby and community gallery spaces.

The celebration will take place at 4:30 p.m. on May 16 at the museum. Refreshments will be served courtesy of NBT Bank.

"We are very pleased with the transformation of our welcome area and main gallery," said Chenango County Historical Society Board Member John Antonowicz. "These improvements were made possible thanks to the generosity of the RC Smith Foundation and Golden Artist Colors, and we are extremely grateful for their support."
