NYS Trooper Hurt After Being Struck While Assisting Motorist

BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (AP) — State police say a trooper was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle while assisting a disabled motorist on an overpass leading to the Long Island Expressway near Brentwood.
