NORWICH – The Norwich Tornado volleyball squad fought their way to a perfect 3-0 win over Chenango Valley on Tuesday evening.

Inviting the Warriors into Jack Jones Gymnasium for a match on Tuesday, October 10, Norwich battled their way to three wins – thanks in a big way to their standout player of the night, Alexis Taylor.

“Alexis Taylor had a great night for us,” said Norwich head coach Shelly Alger.

Taylor’s 15 kills on the night were instrumental in helping the Tornado defend their home court.

Up 2-0 after the first two set wins – 25-19 and 25-21 – Norwich found themselves in a pivotal set and down 22-13. With the chance to shutout the CV Warriors slowly slipping away from Norwich, the Tornado squad truly stepped up.
