Have an opinion on 'bump stocks?' Weigh-in on Sen. Akshar's survey

NEW YORK STATE In the aftermath of the mass shooting in Las Vegas on October 1 that killed 58 and injured nearly 500 more, lawmakers across the country are debating the legality of selling and owning bump stocks: a device that makes semi-automatic weapons perform similarly to fully-automatic weapons.



Currently in New York State, it is legal to buy, sell, and own bump stock devices, but illegal to attach them to semi-automatic weapons.
