NORWICH A 33-year-old man will serve three and a half years in the prison after being sentenced in Chenango County Court on Monday.

Timothy J. Reid, 33, of Binghamton appeared in front of Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr., after being charged with multiple drug and weapons charges in July 2016.

Reid plead guilty to criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a class C felony and was sentenced by Chenango County Court Judge Frank Revoir Jr. to serve three and a half years in prison with three years of post-release supervision. The second charge was criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony for which he will serve one year with one year post release supervision. The sentences will run concurrent with each other, meaning the longer charge will supersede the shorter one.
