Norwich loses two back-to-back; UV wins fifth straight

JOHNSON CITY – Playing on the nine-hole, par 34 course for the first time in his career, Norwich’s Alex Gage recorded a 39, just five strokes over par. Gage and the rest Purple Tornado recored a team score of 224, the lowest team score this season on Wednesday, September 6. 



“We played a decent round for never playing the course before for all players,” said head coach David Branham. “If we shot that score at Canasawacta [our home course], we can win.”

Led by Michael Bucko with a 33, Seton Catholic recorded a team score of 188 for the match. Bucko was the top medalist on the day with this score while the rest of his team finished with scores in the high 30’s to low 40’s.
