WHITNEY POINT Wednesday, April 5, proved to be a great day for the Bainbridge-Guilford varsity baseball team. In their first game of the new season, they ventured to Whitney Point, and came away with an emphatic 12-1 victory.
The Bobcat bats were ringing in the first inning, as the team erupted for six runs.
We sent 10 guys to the plate. They had a lefty on the mound, and our kids were just teeing off on him, said B-G head coach Jim Mosher.
