SHERBURNE- The Chenango Bird Club will hold a planning meeting for the upcoming Christmas Bird Count on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m., at Rogers Environmental Education Centerís Bird Exhibit Cabin. This meeting began preparation of the Christmas Count that will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17. The Christmas Bird Count (CBC) is a 24 hours event running from midnight to midnight on Dec. 17, where birders in the area will attempt to see and hear as many birds as possible. Our count area is a circle, centered at the intersection of Routes 12 and 80 in the Village of Sherburne, with a 15 mile diameter.
