Trojans dominate second half for win over Unatego

GREENE – Greene boys varsity soccer continued their winning ways in 2016 with an impressive 5-0 victory over visiting Unatego on Sept. 28.

The win against Unatego did not come easily due to a slow, somewhat sloppy first half of play, where the powerful and methodical Trojan attack only managed one strike for a 1-0 lead.

A regrouping at the halftime break for the Trojans saw an offensive explosion in the second half, as Greene trounced Unatego finding the net four times for the 5-0 win at home.

Scoring on the day for Greene was Spencer Klumpp with two goals, Alec Frair with one goal, Jordan Taft with one goal, and River McCumiskey with one goal and one assist.
