UHS Chenango Memorial To Hold Annual CMH Career Days In August

NORWICH - Are you a Chenango County student entering eighth or ninth grade in September, 2016? Have you ever been interested in the medical field? Are you looking for something fun to do over vacation? If you answered yes to any of these three questions, then you need to attend the second annual CMH Career Days!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Otis Thompson Foundation, this August 16th and 17th, CMH will be hosting a free two day “camps” to explore different careers in the medical field. Activities will be hands on and will include these departments and more; Radiology, Heart Care, Emergency Room, Respiratory Therapy, Operating Room, Nursing, Maternity, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy and Nursing Home. You will get the chance to explore different areas and try different skills, such as, placing an endotracheal tube, performing an echocardiogram and even practicing laparoscopic surgery.
