NORWICH – Norwich varsity tennis hosted Owego Free Academy in yesterdays contest on May 3., ultimately winning 5-2. Norwich honored their four graduating seniors, Jamison Luke, Cameron Edwards, Dan Zieno, and Carlos Ithier, prior to the start of the match.

“We knew Owego was going to be a team we had to take seriously, and we knew their one and two were going to be pretty strong. Cameron Edwards did a nice job closing that kid out and our number one and two doubles teams really did a string job and played well,” said Norwich head coach John Stewart.

Much as coach Stewart attested, Owego's number one and two were solid in their play as Cole Paradies would defeat Jamison Luke 6-1 and Ben Siemer would earn the win over Carlos Ithier as well.
