Tornado Softball Moves To 2-1 After Demolishing Seton Catholic 27-0

BINGHAMTON – The Norwich varsity Softball team recorded its second win of the season in fashion when they traveled to take on the Saints of Seton Catholic only to walk away after five innings with a mercy rule win.

“Years ago this is how Norwich lost all their games, so it is nice and everybody contributed,” said Norwich head coach Scott Moore.

The batting for Norwich was on point yesterday seeing all but two players record hits, while the team recorded 27-hits with 27-runs.

Hannah Eddy was on the mound for the Tornado for the first three innings, before Coach Moore elected to rest her arm as the team was already up 6-0 at the time. This allowed Alex Colley some attempts at pitching.
