NORWICH – On Friday, April 8, Chenango County Court was in session to hear the cases of eight different individuals.

Following the completion of four court cases, Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr. called the case of Stephen A. Reilly.

After some pause from Revoir, he did elect to ask anyone in the courtroom who is not directly involved to leave the courtroom, as he intended to make the case sealed.

The Chenango County District Attorney’s Office did oppose the closing of the court for Reilly’s case.

Reilly, 22, of Norwich was previously arrested for the sale of heroin following an unattended death he was linked to, occurring on Aug. 5, 2015.

Reilly was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
