CAZENOVIA– The boys basketball team for the Marauders traveled north yesterday Tuesday, Feb. 9 to play the Cazenovia Lakers, losing 63-50.

Write out of the gates, the Marauders fell victim to an impressive offense of showing from the Lakers, as they were outscored 15-8 simply to begin.

“We looked like a team who played a really hard-fought game on the road last night,” said SE coach Kevin Vibbard.

SE was just coming off of an impressive win the night prior to Tuesday, when they defeated Canatsota on the road as well.

“On the road a lot, both nights in hard-fought intense games,” said Vibbard further.

The Marauders would see improved success and second-quarter, as they drew the lead only four at 26-22.
