The Oxford Lions Club is pleased to announce that NBT Bank is sponsoring $1,000 prize for the first perch caught with the 2016 tag at the Chenango Lake Perch Derby.

The Derby will be held on Feb. 6, 2016 from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. as it has been in the past.

It should be noted that if no tagged perch is caught the $1,000 will be raffled off to registered anglers only.

Chobani is sponsoring the $500 prize for the angler who catches a second tagged perch this year.

Registration is $5 on the ice, the day of the event and begins at 6 a.m. Preregister by January 31, 2016 for only $4, forms are available at Mayhood’s Sporting Goods in Norwich or at www.oxfordlions.org.
