DELHI - The Delhi Bulldogs’ robust defense proved to be too much for the Blackhawk men to handle on Tuesday night in a 55-35 loss.

Oxford Head Coach Tim Davis said, “Delhi’s physical, aggressive, and athletic defense led to a pile of turnovers and a poor shooting performance.”

The game was blown open in the third quarter when Delhi, who had a 9 point halftime lead, scored 16 points to Oxford’s 2.

Oxford was unable to come back from the 23 point deficit that ensued in the fourth, but they did have their strongest quarter offensively, scoring 17 points. The Blackhawks’ leading scorer was Senior Angelo Gonzalez, who netted all 9 of his points in the final quarter.
