NORWICH – Coming out of the long break for the holidays, Norwich showed little signs of slowing down as they proceeded to roll over Chenango Forks winning by 41 points, at 71 to 30.

“We played well, we had a long break and our guys were excited to play,” said Norwich Head Coach Brian Collier.

The Tornado got off to a hot start in the first half as they led by as much as 27 points late. Norwich wouldn’t allow double digit points to the Blue Devils until a late 3-point buzzer beater from CF right before the half, seeing a commanding 32 to 10 lead.

“We got off to a good start, we played really good defense, got some turnovers and got some quick buckets,” said Collier.

Despite a semi-slow start to the second half where the offense seemed to be slightly sloppier in their delivery, this didn’t seem to faze Norwich as they once again found their groove to continue to pour on the points throughout the remainder of the game.
