Santa spotted in Smyrna

On December 12, Santa made his annual visit to Village of Smyrna, arriving on fully decorated fire truck to greet the good girls and boys. The Lawrence family had their family mini pony there for the kids to enjoy while they waited for their photo with Santa. Chenango County Sheriff's office was on hand to do photo ID for the children. The Fire Department Auxiliary little elves were very busy with over 200 kids for pictures and refreshments. After Santa was done he, climbed back on his waiting fire truck and delivered gifts to the local elderly which is long time tradition in Smyrna. Santa would like to thank all his elves in Smyrna and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. (Pictured are Calliey Blackman and Richard Evans. with Santa
