Annual winter concert tonight

The Norwich High School wind ensemble and mixed choir rehearse for the annual winter concert which starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the high school auditorium. The program will feature:

• Jazz Band (Mrs. Erin Banewicz, director) performing “Sunrise” and “White Christmas”

• String Ensemble (Miss Allison Rehn, director) performing “Perpetuoso” and “Polar Express”

• Madrigal Singers (Mrs. Mary Williams, director) performing “Lo, How A Rose E’re Blooming” and “Carol of the Bells”

• Mixed Choir (Mrs. Mary Williams, director) performing “The Road Not Taken,” “Fum Fum Fantasy,” and “Ding-a-Ding-a-Ding”

• Wind Ensemble (Mrs. Erin Banewicz, director) performing “Selections from The Lion King” and “Into The Storm”

Combined Wind and String Ensembles will close the program with Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride.”

The concert is free and open to the public.
