NEW BERLIN - After play on Wednesday, December 3, in the Wednesday Night Men’s Bowling League at Lake Street Lanes in New Berlin, the team of ARE Builders is sitting in first place.

ARE Builders is in first place this week with 35 total points, five and one half points ahead of the next best team, Weak Links. In third place is KRP Excavating with 24 and one half points. With the standings so close and the season not even half way over, it is still anybody’s game.

This week Weak Links bowled some of its best games this season, taking the top scratch game and series, bowling a 1078 combined team game and a 3102 series. KRP Excavating took the handicap games, bowling a 1205 high game and 3420 high series.

Allen Emrich took three out of the four high individual awards for this week. Emrich bowled a 268 scratch single game, 780 scratch series, and a 792 handicap series. Steve Brown beat out Enrich by eight pins to take the top individual handicap game to end Enrich’s sweep of the individual highs.
