NORWICH - On Tuesday, November 17, the Tuesday Afternoon Mixed Bowling League met at Family Recreation Lanes in Norwich. The team of Giddy Up & Go is still in first place after play this week, but only by just one point.

With 43 points Giddy Up & Go is just barely ahead of the two teams tied for second place. Tied for second place are Guys and Dolls and Plaza Keglers with 42 points each. Last week both teams were sitting in the fourth and fifth place spots and after play this week, they seem to be poised to take the lead.

For the men it was Jim Kenyon who bowled a 549 to take the high 600 game for the week. Kenyon beat out Harry Kott’s 538 and Fan D’Angelo’s 519. Not to be denied, Kott took the high 200 game this week, bowling a 233. Kott beat out Dewitt Murphy who threw a 221 and Frank Carlin who bowled a 211.

It was Judy Harrington who took the top games across the board, bowling a 476 for a 500 game and a 175 for a 200 game. Harrington beat out Marge Gollnitz and Joan Costello’s 436 games and Shirley Cummings’ 169 game for the top spots.
