Smith Productions Increases Lead In Industrial Mixed League

NORWICH - The Industrial Mixed Bowling League played this week on Monday, November 16, at Family Recreation Lanes in Norwich. The team of Smith Productions once again came out on top of the leaderboard.

Smith Productions kept their top spot this week as number one on the leaderboard after play on Monday with 50 total points. In second is the team of Ye Ole Shanty with 45 and in third is Fahy’s Funeral Home with 42 points. This week Smith Productions increased their lead from just two points to five and seem to be running away at the top after beating Ye Ole Shanty 5-2 in a position round match to keep the lead.

For the men it was Ed Cummings who took the high series, bowling a 680. Cummings beat out the next best man, Harvey Stalker, by over twenty points for the high series. Rich Barnes Sr. took the high game with week with a 254, beating out Cummings’ 244 and Matt Wahlberg’s 238.

Charity Mills took the high series for the ladies, bowling a 590. Mills beat out Margaret Magistro’s 544 for the high series, but wouldn’t beat Magistro’s 213 for high single game.
