EDMESTON – The Village of New Berlin Fire Department was called to the scene of tractor trailer rollover in the Town of South Edmeston Sunday night.

According to scanner records, a call to Chenango County 911 dispatch indicated that a tractor trailer containing a load of raw milk overturned on State Highway 8 near the intersection of Country Road 25.

It is believed that the vehicle was en route to the Chobani yogurt plant located approximately on mile from the scene of the incident.

According to New Berlin Fore Chief Barry Jacobs, the driver mus-judged the hill and failed to negotiate a stop sign at the base of County Road 25.
