Norwich YMCA after school program keeps kids active and off the streets

NORWICH – The Norwich YMCA, located in downtown Norwich, offers the community an option for after school care for the youth of Norwich.

“The children come here to have their lives enriched with our activities,” said Bonnie Tiffany, the Youth and Family Director at the YMCA.

The Norwich YMCA after school program is the largest childcare program in the county. The Norwich YMCA is the home of this program, however it also exists in the Oxford and Greene school districts.

The YMCA has this program for the children in the community, to help promote a healthy living as they actively advocate for physical health. This program also helps keep the youth of Norwich busy and out of trouble.

This program is available to any child who is enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade in Norwich, Oxford or Greene school districts.
