NORWICH Starting today and lasting for the next 10 days, locals in and around Chenango County will have access to no-cost medical care services and treatment.

The Greater Chenango Cares Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) gets underway today at the Norwich High School. The initiative is a collaboration between the Chenango County Department of Planning and multiple nonprofits, and the United States Department of Defense that has brought dozens of service men and women to the area to provide health care, dental, vision and veterinary services to community members at no cost to them.
